Brassica Oleracea v. acephala: Easy to grow, curly variety growing up to 15 inches high, with a spread of harvestable leaves reaching out to up to 3 feet. Takes severe cold weather with less yellowing than other Kale varieties. A delcious, and nutritious kale with dark green, bluish leaves with a softer 'green' flavor when cooked. This variety of kale is better suited to cooking because it is hardier and slightly tougher than other kale varieties. Can be grown as an annual in all zones. Planting instructions are included on the seed envelope. Seeds are stored in environmental conditions that promote seed life (Dark/Dry/Cool). Plant with confidence!
