Yarrow Summer Pastels make a great addition to any perennial garden for mass plantings, borders, naturalized settings and cottage gardens. It also is a great cutting flower. Throughout history, Yarrow plants have been used as a medicinal herb. The Achillea herb has especially been used in the treatment and care of wounds. The Yarrow herb plant should be planted in full sun and is tolerant to hot, humid summers. Achillea Yarrow can tolerate poor soil conditions, and does best in lean, dry to medium wet, well-drained soil. Avoid heavy clays and moist, rich, fertile soils.
