Pink peppercorns are from the Peruvian pepper tree, a different plant completely than other peppercorns. Pink peppercorns are fruitier and more delicate than other types of peppercorns and are a great addition to a salad or dip where their flavor won't be overpowered. Combine 1/2 teaspoon ground pink peppercorns with 1/3 cup olive oil, 1/4 cup white wine vinegar, lemon juice and salt for a light salad dressing.
