The American made PVS-IS2 is a premium 2" PVC vent screen product manufactured with high quality materials that have been sourced within the United States. The PVS-IS2 protects high efficiency furnace, hot water heater and boiler vents by creating a breathable barrier that prevents rodents and insects from gaining entry. Being the most versatile vent screen product on the market, the PVS-IS2 maintains a 70% rate of airflow that exceeds most plastic rodent vent screen products by 10%-20%. In fact, most plastic vent screen products provide so little airflow that they don't even declare it. The PVS-IS2 utilizes a high quality 316 stainless steel screen mesh that is encased in a precision machined 6061-T6 aluminum shell. This vent screen easily installs into a two inch PVC hub/elbow and is secured in place with an included 304 stainless steel internal wire clip that can be reused many times over. In fact, this vent screen can be installed in under one minute without the need for caulk, screws or any other fasteners and can be removed just as easily without the need for any tools. Both the vent screen and clip resist corrosion and will not become brittle as plastic vent screens do. Please note that the outside diameter of the PVS-IS2 is 2.370" and is designed to fit inside any standard 2" PVC hub or coupling with a 2-3/8" opening.
