This plant is considered to be an uplifting herb, often one of the main ingredients in herbal blends for anxiety and depression. A member of the mint family, it is classically soothing to the stomach. Lemon Balm is very easy to grow, and produces abundantly once established. It prefers a location with decently fertile soil, and plenty of water. An excellent variety for container gardening. One of our best herbal allies.
