Gwhole Combination Whetstone 240/800 Grit Double-sided Knife Sharpening Stone with Non-Slip Silicone Holder
Using Instruction
1. Immerse the whetstone in water entirely for about 5 minutes.
2. Sharpening the knives with one or two steps is decided by the degree of blunt tool.
Step 1: 240 coarse grit is used to repair a very blunt edge and is suitable for dull knives. Hold the knife at an angle of 10 - 30 degree and grind the edge on the surface of stone back and forth with gentle pressure until the edge sharpness meets your standards.
Step 2: 800 grit fine grinding is a necessary step to eliminate burrs on the edge. Use more gentle pressure, repeat step 1, and repair the edge until it has a smooth and fine edge. General speaking, use the 800 grit once a week to keep your blade sharp.
3. Wipe the stone with a wet cloth or rinse it with water after sharpening the tool and then dry with a clean towel. Clean the stone surface with a soft brush and leave it in an open area to dry thoroughly before storing.
