The PURAP mattress system is designed specifically to help prevent and treat bedsores (aka pressure sores, pressure ulcers). It can be used for patients who have already developed bedsores or those who are at risk for bedsores –patients with limited or no mobility, the elderly, and wheelchair users, etc. It can be used in any setting – in a hospital, care facility, and at home.

HOW TO USE: The PURAP mattress system may be placed underneath the patient by “log-rolling” the patient (in case of limited mobility patients) as indicated in the accompanying video or by laying out the mattress system first and then placing the patient lay on top of it.
