The pageantry of a nation is encapsulated in the music of Sir Charles Hubert Hastings Parry. He was a Baronet, a Knight and fervent supporter of the suffragette movement. This new program from James O'Donnell and the Choir of Westminster Abbey, joined here by organist Daniel Cook and Onyx Brass, contains some lesser-known early works alongside blazing performances of favorites, all recorded in the very building for which many of them were so skillfully crafted.
