The lovely Hopi Crape Myrtle Tree/Shrub.The Hopi Crape Myrtle is one of the most winter hardy varieties of crape myrtles available! Slightly more compact than your standard crape myrtles, topping out at just around 10 feet tall. Clusters of soft rose pink to mauve color blooms on this semi-dwarf shrub with attractive, peeling bark. The brilliant orange-red fall foliage sets the landscape ablaze. From the wonderfully smooth bark to the dark green foliage and then onto the orange red fall color, the Dynamite Crape Myrtle is an amazing summer to fall show off! Massive curb appreal! Dynamite Crape Myrtle Trees are a spectacular addition to any southern landscape! Plant in moist, well-drained soil with Full/partial sun. Beautiful spring and fall foliage with moderate growth rate. Can grow to 20 feet tall and 20 feet wide. All plants will grow according to their climate. In the Northern areas where winter injury can be a problem, plants will typically grow to 6-10' tall. Deep South, plants will grow much taller if not pruned back. Plant Hopi in average, well-drained soil. This tree/shrub loves full sun. The Hopi has moderate growth rate. Will top out around 10 ft. tall and 10 ft. wide. Suggested uses as a shrub border and in the south this cultivar is also effective as a tall screen or informal hedge.
