Product Review
Muskogee Crape Myrtle is one of the few trees to bloom rich lavender purple flowers! It has the longest blooming period of all Crape Myrtles, up to 120 amazing days and is also one of the fastest growing crapes. Each summer the Muskogee Crape Myrtle exfoliates its cinnamon colored bark in thin strips to expose a smooth, light gray colored bark. All plants will grow according to their climate. In the Northern areas where winter injury can be a problem, plants will typically grow to 6-10' tall. In the deep South, plants will grow much taller if not pruned back. Plant Muskogee in average, well-drained soil. This tree/shrub loves full sun. The Muskogee has moderate growth rate. Will top out around 20 ft. tall and 15 ft. wide. Suggested uses as a shrub border and in the south this cultivar is also effective as a tall screen or informal hedge.
