Product Review
A powerhouse of a pickle! With firm flesh and small seeds, Boston Pickling Cukes are as good in salads as they are in the pickle barrel!
This cucumber produces continually after about 60 days. These cukes are short, 3-6", perfect to harvest and eat up in single sittings, or to fit in your pickle jars!
Directions:
1. Pick a spot that gets good sun.
2. Plant at least a week after the last frost.
3. Sow cucumber seed balls 20 inches apart, they will enjoy something to climb if available.
4. Cucumbers like moist soil, so water liberally!
5. Harvest cucumbers as they mature to keep the vines producing.
About our Seed-Balls
Our seed balls make gardening fun and simple for beginning gardeners. We carefully roll premium vegetable seeds in an expertly engineered blend of composts and minerals that provides safety and nutrition for growing seeds and seedlings.
The varieties of garden vegetables that we have selected are known for vigorous growth and reliable delicious crops.
Sowing Seed-Balls
Gently press seed balls halfway into the surface of bare soil. Keep moist until seedlings have at least 4 leaves, then water when the soil is dry before the plant wilts. Seed balls can take a little longer than bare seeds to germinate. Warm damp but not wet conditions help speed germination along.
We are a green agri-business in Central Pennsylvania and take pride in making the best seed balls around. If you are not satisfied with your seed balls, contact us for a refund or replacement. We want you to grow!
