Issai Kiwi are self-fertile fuzzless vining plants. These Kiwi are smaller than some common fuzzy Kiwi but are exceptionally sweet with eight times more vitamin C than oranges. This variety is very cold tolerant and grow from Northern to Southern States Zones 4-9. The vine can spread to over 13 ft after many years of growth and will require a sturdy support system. The plants are heat tolerant, but do not like over-saturated soils. The fruit ripens in the Fall Aug.-Sept.
