Emma’s life is in shambles. She forfeited her job and her apartment when she took time off to spend time with her dying mother. Now, she’s alone, faced with having to sell her childhood home to pay the unpaid medical bills.
When her friend Joyce calls to offer free tickets to see Jennifer Davis, a well renowned psychic, Emma declines the offer. She already has a dinner date for that evening. She was looking forward more to the dinner than the date. A girl’s got to eat.
Emma doesn’t believe in psychics or ghosts, but, when Joyce calls her later that evening to tell her that Jennifer Davis made contact with her mother despite her not being present, she is curious. She is still skeptical. It has to be a scam. Despite her misgivings, she follows through on her promise to Joyce to call this Jennifer Davis. Little does she know that that one phone call puts in place a series of events that will not only change her outlook on the paranormal, but it will change her life.
