You are purchasing the 'June' Hosta, a sport of 'Halcyon' Hosta and was "Hosta of the Year 2001". 'June' Hosta continually number one in popularity and is a must have!!!! They have distinctive gold leaves of heavy substance streaked with blue-green margins. Lovely pale lavender blooms appear in late summer. Hostas are easy to grow and maintain. These plants return year after year!! Large or small mounds of Hosta are not only beautiful as borders but also as a filler in flower gardens or landscape areas. Hosta grows best in moist, well-drained highly organic soil. June Hosta can grow up to 15 inches tall and as wide as 37 inches and prefers part to full shade. Hardiness zone 3 - 9.
