Product Review
A sport of the famous 'Sagae' Hosta, we have 'Liberty' Hosta, a must have for your shade garden! 'Liberty' has medium blue-green centers with wide, dramatically streaked, golden yellow margins which fade to a creamy white later in the season. Their variegated leaves are of heavy substance providing greater slug resistance. Funnel-shaped pale flowers appear in early summer on scapes of 40" rising above the foliage mound. In 2012, 'Liberty' Hosta received quite a few awards including American Hosta Growers' Association Hosta of the Year, American Hosta Society Alex J. Summers Distinguished Merit Award, and Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit. Mature plant size produces stunning clumps 26" in height with a spread of 39". The 'Liberty' Hosta does best when planted in moist, fertile, but well-drained soil in partial - full shade. Hardiness zones 3-9.
