This IR Receiver can be used with IR Repeater kits as an additional or a replacement IR Receiver that is plugged into one of the IR Receiver ports on the Repeater Control Box. It can also be used as a spare or replacement cable with the Inteset HDMI IR Kit (B01H417ICA). It is a full range 20-60 kHz IR Receiver that will transmit IR signals from any IR Remote for any A/V Device. It is not for use on Cable Boxes.
