Crape Myrtle's are easy to grow and a delight to anyone's garden! 'Tonto' Crape Myrtle is the perfect tree if you want to add bold & beautiful coloring to your landscape. Large clusters of soft-textured reddish-pink flowers appear in late summer into fall. And after the blooms have bloomed, the foliage turns an attractive orange-red color as fall settles in. 'Tonto' is semi-dwarf, so it doesn't take up quite the space as the traditional varieties. A 'must have' for your garden! All plants will grow according to their climate. In the Northern areas where winter injury can be a problem, plants will typically not grow as tall as those grown in the south. In the Deep-South, plants will grow much taller if not pruned back.
