This is wax made specifically for sealing oak aging barrel leaks. You place it on the outside of the barrel on the leaking area to seal up leaks. 1 ounce of barrel wax should be enough to seal up a few leaks on a small oak barrel. If you have a larger barrel or multiple leaks we recommend that you purchase more than one ounce of barrel wax. Sealing instructions: You basically want to wipe the wax on the affected areas (after drying) and press it in to the pores of the wood. Then you can wipe off the excess with a rag. The wax will fill the pores in that area and seal it up.
