Here we have beautiful fish fossils from the famous Green River formation in Wyoming. All of these fish fossils are around 55 million years old! These fossils will make amazing and unique gifts. All of these fish fossils are of full fish. Please look at the second photo to determine the approximate size of these fish(there is a quarter for reference).

- These fish are called Knightia Alta's, and are very similar to the modern day herring.
- Please look at the second photo to determine the approximate size of these pieces. Each fish fossil plate will measure around 2.5-4 inches in total length. Since these are natural, each piece will very slightly in shape, size, and color! Please note these small fossils are stained to make the fish stand out, this is a common practice when the fish are being prepared.
