These medium-size, elongated bells ripen to a deep-red color at maturity. Considered a "mild" hot pepper variety (10,000 Scoville Units) this wonderful variety is commonly used in middle eastern cuisine, particularly In Syria, Armenia, and Turkey. It is usually dried and ground, with the flakes used as a spice or condiment. I love the flavor! It is my favorite hot pepper variety.

Named after the city of Aleppo in Syria, this variety is very difficult to find in US presently. 80 Days
