Three KleenWater High Temperature Dirt Sediment Replacement Water Filters - 2.5 x 9.75 Inch - 5 micron

These replacement cartridges are engineered for high temperature applications up to 180 degrees Farhrenheit. Compatible with filtration used with outdoor wood burning furnace systems and domestic hot water systems.

The cartridge is made in the USA of 100% FDA compliant polypropylene. The graded density design provides 3 layers of filtration. Larger particles are trapped at the surface and progressively the cartridge allows for finer particle entrapment. Ultimately capable of 5 micron filtration near the cartridge core. To provide perspective to the 5 micron sediment entrapment rating, it is important to note the naked human eye can see down to 20 micron and a human hair is 100 microns in diameter. The 7 gallon per minute flow rates allow for residential and light commercial applications. It is recommended the cartridge be changed every 3-6 months or upon substantial pressure reduction.
