To the shock of most of the closest people in his life, Daniel decides to drop out of college to start a private investigation agency. With his new tracking spell in hand, he can find just about anything, which makes for easy work and easy money.

Unfortunately, getting those initial few clients proves to be more difficult than he’d expected, especially as a teenager with no official credentials. Daniel is left with no other option but to take the case of someone who doesn’t want to be found, following flimsy leads in an attempt to bring home a lost friend and his former crush.
