Bletilla striata. 'Big Bob' Taller variety of striata orchid - Big Bob's flower spikes can reach up to 36" and have up to 20 blooms per spike. This hardy ground orchid is fairly easy to grow in the ground in your garden or potted. Has bright green leaves and deep pink to purple star shaped flowers. A must for the garden. Produces slender pleated leaves. Hardy from zone 5 - 11. Likes moist rich well-drained soil. Full to part sun. Winter mulch in very cold areas. You will be receiving 1 plant between 3 & 8 inches in a 3 inch deep pot.
