These stalks are nutrient-packed with vitamin K, fiber and antioxidants. Make tasty pies, jams and sauces with this incredible vegetable. Plant Crimson Red Rhubarb in an open sunny place in fertile, moist, well-drained soil. You can expect your Rhubarb to grow as tall as 2-3 feet tall as wide. This winter-hardy, highly adaptable plant is suited for Hardiness Zones: 3-8 Planting Tips: Plant in fertile soil in early spring as soon as soil can be worked or in fall. Dig a deep, wide hole and plant the crowns approximately 1"-2" deep allowing 4' between each plant in compost and topsoil. Harvest the stalks the 2nd year of growth.
