A brilliant recorder in every sense, the Zoom H6 packs advanced features into a compact and portable body. Featuring a system of interchangeable input capsules the H6 allows you to choose the ideal mic for every situation and comes with both XY and mid-side mic modules so you start with 2 options right out of the box. The XY capsule provides 2 matched unidirectional condenser microphones set at a 90-degree angle and adjustable to 120 degrees for a wider stereo image and features a built-in shock mount system and a maximum SPL of 140dB. For situations such as tv production, the mid-side module is a great choice with its true mono compatibility and two elements. The H6 can record 6 channels simultaneously and with 4 XLR / TRS combo inputs each with their own preamps, dedicated gain knobs and -20dB pads, the H6 has everything a recorder can have. Capable of recording and playback at resolutions up to 24-bit/96 kHz in BWF-compliant WAV or a variety of MP3 formats the H6 records directly to SD, SDHC and SDXC cards up to 128GB. Additionally, it has 2 outputs, supports +12/+24/+48V phantom power for main inputs,  provides auto, pre & backup-record functions and features multitrack to stereo internal mixdown and independent monitor and playback mixes. There is also a built-in speaker, chromatic tuner and metronome and USB connection for PC/Mac/iPad. Just pop 4 AA batteries into the H6 recorder and it is ready for over 20 hours of continuous recording.

Bundled with the Zoom SGH-6 Shotgun Microphone Capsule, which features a super-cardioid polar pattern to capture sound from a distance with excellent off-axis noise rejection. The SGH-6 provides 3 internal mics with digital and signal processing ability, analog-style gain control for fast setup of input level, and a 5-volt preamp that virtually eliminates distortion. The SGH-6 is ideal for film, video, land live theater applications and is fully compatible with the Zoom H6 Handy Recorder.
