Good cooking rhubarb. Easy to grow and a heavy producer. Large, straight, and thick stalks are sweet and not stringy or tough. Stalks start pink at the base and turn to green at the top. Favored as a commercially grown rhubarb.
Rhubarb plants have large leaves and will grow three to four feet high and will spread out three to four feet.

Sow Indoors: Soak seeds 8 hours then sow two seeds per peat pot. Keep warm until germination then thin to 1 seedling. Transplant outside when night temps are no lower than 32F. Plant 3-4 feet apart in rich soil.
Direct Sow: After danger of frost sow 2 - 3 seeds 1/4" deep, 3 - 4 feet apart in rows 3 - 4 feet apart. Prefers rich, well-dug soil to start.
