This Cosgard preservative will effectively preserve your preparations containing an aqueous phase, creams, lotions .... Note that this preservative is synthetic, but it is one of the few preservatives authorized by Ecocert and is therefore widely used in organic cosmetics. The Cosgard preservative is a broad-spectrum antibacterial and antifungal agent, it preserves the cosmetic preparations containing an aqueous phase (water, hydrolate). Appearance: Colorless to yellow liquid. Recommended use rate: 0.2 to 1% of the total weight of your preparation, to be introduced at the end of preparation. INCI: benzyl alcohol, dehydroacetic acid, water. Precaution: benzyl alcohol is potentially allergenic, so it is essential to do an allergy test in the arm. Do a test of the finished product or preservative diluted to 1%, wait for 24 hours to 48 hours to observe a possible reaction. - Keep out of reach of children. - Do not swallow, do not inhale, avoid contact with the eyes. - Respect the recommended doses. for external use only.
