FAQs

1. Nickel helps become corrosion-resistant and long lasting, so nickel-bearing stainless steel is commonly used in industry, BUT nickel is high up on the ATSDR list of priority toxins. Ours are made of food grade AISI 430 stainless steel (18/0, defined by American Iron and Steel Institute), which is NON-TOXIC, NON-ALLERGIC, thus more suitable for cookware.
2. Even heat distribution achieves the healthy non-stick purpose without toxic PFOA and PTFE coating. Enough cooking care is still required to achieve non-stick purpose.

ATTENTION

1. Prolonged exposure to acidic or basic substances may corrode stainless steel cookware; DO NOT store raw, marinating foods in the pan/pot.
2. To prevent sticking, heat the pan/pot until hot before adding the oil.
3. Heat at medium temperature is recommended.
