Notes:
Although the leakage alarm only consumes the battery when the alarm is triggered, it still recommended that the battery be replaced at least every six months to ensure proper functioning.

Q(1): The water leakage alarm gives an alarm without any water leakage
A: It may be triggered because the water leakage alarm is placed on a metal conductor, please place a piece of paper under the water leakage alarm

Q(2): On the Water leakage time, the leak alarm did not give an alarm
A: One reason is that the leak alarm is not placed in the right way. The correct way is to put the leak alarm flat in the place where it might leak, with the buzzer facing up.The probe head down, so that the sensor of the alarm (that is two contact metals) can easily touch the water. Another reason is that the battery voltage is too low, so that it cannot work, and a new battery should be replaced

Q(3): How long will the battery last?
A: The package does not contain batteries. But we tested it with 6F22 9V battery. The alarm keep going off for about 24 hours. When the water leak alarm isn't in use, 9V battery for power supply can be used for more than one year, and recommend that you could check the battery once a month. If the frequency for alarming is high, we recommend you could check the battery every 15 days.

Q(4): How can you know the battery is low?
A: The sound of the water leak alarm is lowish when the battery is low.

Q(5): Is it easy to reset?
A: No reset necessary. Goes off by itself when water is no longer touching it. Automatically reset and ready to go.
