For maximum strength & durability, The hatchet head is made from hardened C45 carbon steel dropforged, cooled in an oil bath then heat treated. This high-quality steel has been tested to withstand 53-56 hrs based on the Rockwell hardness Scale. The entire design is fit for camping, hiking or other outdoor activities.
