Impatiens Balsamina or Balsam is a long-blooming annual that has a mix of beautiful colors: salmon, violet, scarlet, rose and white. The foliage is also attractive making Balsam a perfect flower for any garden. Balsam flower seed germinates quickly and the plant grows rapidly, blooming when it is just 3 to 4 inches tall. Balsam will reach a height of 12 to 18 inches and continue to bloom as it grows. Impatiens Balsamina can be grown in either sun or shade as long as it has regular watering.
