Primula Malacoides (Pink Shades) - Plant your Primulas in early autumn when it has started to cool down and you should have a good show from them well into summer in frost free zones. If you are growing them as an annual in colder zones, then Spring plant after frost season is over. Fairy Primrose flowers make a stunning display when mass planted or in a container. Primulas thrive in well drained, fertile soil in a spot which is lightly shaded most of the day. Water them regularly but be careful not to overwater. Feed with a balanced fertilizer every six weeks more often if in a container. If you wish to sow this flower seed indoors before last frost then do so at least 4 weeks before the last frost. You may also sow Primrose flower seed outdoors after frost season is over and soil temperatures are warm. Sow on top of soil and do not cover, but keep moist.
