Dendrobium loddigesii x self DESCRIPTION: PROLIFIC & EXCEPTIONAL SPECIES! This is a small, deciduous species from Southeast Asia. They produce pink and orange flowers from the leaf-bracts along the canes. The flowers are fragrant and about 1 3/4" - 2" across, and blooms during spring and summer. Each solitary bloom lasts for 3 weeks. The plant must be given a watering rest period during late autumn and winter if it is to flower well. You are browsing on a blooming size plant (Blooms on a small plant). These plants are at least 3-4 years old and are very well established. (Due to bright growing conditions (sunlight) in greenhouse, leaves have red speckles pigmentation.) Makes a very spectacular show stopper!! A MUST FOR ANY ORCHID COLLECTOR! *This plant is deciduous, making it normal to shed its leaves. Leaves will turn yellow and drop before blooming season. *Here is a helpful link (copy & paste link in web browser). I found this helpful link on internet that helps explain care/culture on this type of plant (Below). http://ricardogupi.blogspot.com/2011/02/dendrobium-anosmum-and-its-relatives.html SIZE: Mounted on hapu'u (Tree Fern)
