The super famous Peruvian seasoning pepper was crossed with another pepper to make this flavorful delight. Aji Mango pepper truly have a beautiful mango fruit aroma to them along with that amazing Amarillo flavor. It's a different kind of fruitiness from other chiles like poblanos: less sharp and harsh, more full-bodied, and a lot more subtle. If there were a chile to taste like sunshine, this would be it. It may sound odd to use the word to describe a hot chile, but for this family of peppers, it seems fitting. These peppers are flavorful and spicy and can be used for a multitude of dishes, especially anything South American. If you love Amarillo, you've gotta try this!
