Cabbage - Nampa Michihli Heading (Napa Cabbage Type) Variety: Nampa Michihli Heading Color: Green Easy to Grow? Yes. Time Until Harvest: 50 - 100 Days Notes: The most common type of "Napa" cabbage. An improved version of the "Chihli" strain. Plant 14-16 inches apart. Start Indoors 2-4 weeks before last frost or sow in early fall (late July). A cool season crop preferring weather in the 50 - 60 degree (F) range. Has a synergistic relationship to corn, beets, beans, leaf lettuce, peas and carrots. Make sure to rotate with plants that are not from the cabbage family to discourage common pests.
