This Japanese winter radish is beautiful and crisp with mild flavor. A white-necked Daikon type, it is an exciting, crunchy, slightly spicy addition to sushi, stir-fries, winter salads, or sliced and eaten fresh for hors d'oeuvres. It is best planted in late summer or early fall. The roots can be harvested at any stage into winter before the ground freezes. This packet plants: About 55 plants after thinning.
