ABOUT YOUR NEW ORGANIC ONION SEEDS

The Seedz Evergreen Bunching Onion is a cool season biennial that prefers full sun and well-drained soils rich in organic matter. Still, it is an extremely cold-hardy plant that will reliably overwinter even in far northern locations. Our green onions can be sown every few weeks or allowed to develop into a perennial patch.

WHEN TO PLANT

For best results, start transplants 8-10 weeks before planting date or direct-sow seeds as soon as the soil can be worked.

GROW PATTERNS AND TIMING

Sow 24 seeds per foot with 5-10" between rows. Evergreen Bunching Onions seeds can be expected to germinate within 10-14 days. Plan about 65 days to full maturity. Keep ground moist and free of weeds. Hill stalks to promote elongation and blanching.
