Beautiful cones in the fall! Gowdy Oriental Spruce Stunning hanging pink fruits in the spring later turning into large ornamental brown cones. This spruce has a beautiful narrowly-columnar shape with extra-dark short green shiny needles. The fine branches hang down creating an interesting weeping effect. Gowdy has year-round interest. An excellent choice for the small yard. Full sun. The size in ten years is about 8' high and 3' wide.
